Qualification:

Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for providing technical oversight and direction over vendor’s design and development of the insurance data model in Terradata and ensures that it meets the business requirements and adheres to IT standards.
* Responsible for defining and reviewing data integration strategies between core systems, CRM and EDW.
* Responsible for developing ETL standards, processes for capturing and maintaining metadata.
* Responsible for developing Data Governance strategy, ensuring appropriate data security, privacy and access of enterprise data.
* Provides technical leadership to the project team

Skills Required:
* Deep understanding of data ware house approaches, insurance industry standards and industry best practices.
* 5+ years of experience in IT, Data Analysis, Enterprise Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Management and Data Modeling.
* 5+ years design and development experience in data warehousing
* Knowledge of Insurance/Finance a must
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Tool Requirements:
* Tools are not critical but there needs to be a good understanding of the use of tools. Tools used in project
* ERWin – data modeling
* DataStage – ETL
* Microstrategy – Reporting and BI
* Terradata – EDW
