1. Job Title: Plant Cost Accountant
Principal: a multi-facet group with some 1,000 employees in the fields of small goods manufacturing

Salary: 70, 000 – 75,000 Peso

College Graduate
Five years of working experience in related field.
CPA and eligible to be registered as member with Papua New Guinea Institute of Accountants.
Experience as an accountant in a manufacturing plant or factory with emphasis in cost accounting, budgeting, audit and systems and procedures review.
Mature outlook & stable temperament and self motivated.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to communicate at all levels
Good command of both written and spoken in English.
Job description:
Verify inventories against accounting records on a regular basis.
Prepare a monthly Production Report showing the quantity amount and percentages of yields and obsolescence.
Prepare a monthly report of ordering costs and carrying costs of inventories.
Assist in preparing, monitoring and analysis of monthly and yearly budget for the Factory.
Review and monitor accounting and related systems in the factory for control and efficiency purposes.
